This family photo session was so beautiful — and it was the first time I photographed in this garden in Lisbon. More sessions followed here, but this one still feels special… because the winter light was absolutely magical!
When it comes to photographing children, choosing the right location makes all the difference. Parks and gardens are often the best choice — they give kids the space to run, explore, climb, and just be themselves. The more natural and comfortable they feel, the more genuine and joyful the photos will be. No forced smiles, no stiff poses… just your children, exactly how they are in this season of life.
That’s why the overall mood of the session matters so much. My goal is always to create a relaxed and playful atmosphere — where there's room for hugs, games, quiet moments, and loud laughs. When the kids are happy and the parents are at ease, everything flows naturally. And it shows in every single frame.
