When Mike and Cory reached out to me, they were visiting Madrid from Arizona to attend a destination wedding and decided to celebrate their one-year anniversary with a photoshoot while they were here. Dressed up, in love, and excited to explore the city, they wanted a way to remember this moment in their lives and the energy of Madrid. And what better way than a relaxed and joyful photo session?
We met at Templo de Debod, one of the most iconic sunset spots in the city. The golden hour light, ancient ruins and view over Casa de Campo gave us the perfect romantic backdrop. From there, we strolled together toward the Royal Palace, pausing for photos in a more urban, elegant setting before wrapping up the session. The entire experience was fun, intimate, and spontaneous, just like them.
Mike and Cory were incredibly easygoing, laughing, holding hands and clearly smitten with each other. Photographing their connection was such a joy. It’s moments like these that make my job so rewarding.
As a photographer based in Madrid, I’ve had the pleasure of capturing several LGBTQ+ weddings and couple sessions, and I have more booked for this year. My sessions are always a safe, inclusive and welcoming space, no matter who you are or who you love. I believe everyone deserves to feel seen, comfortable, and celebrated.

If you’re planning a trip and thinking about booking a Madrid photoshoot, whether to celebrate a relationship milestone, a special trip or just because, I'd love to hear from you! I’m happy to suggest beautiful locations, go for a stroll through this vibrant city, and create photos that feel like you.
Madrid is an incredibly open-minded and diverse city, and it's the perfect place to capture love stories of all kinds.
