This personal branding photo session in Madrid was a little different from my usual sessions, as I was photographing an international team of four women who were in the city for a business retreat. They all work together in the world of funding and grants, but live in different parts of the world, so having some time together in Madrid was also a great opportunity to create new images for their website and communication.
We started at their hotel in central Madrid, where we focused on more polished portraits and images that reflected their professional side. From there, we headed outside and walked through the city, making our way from the area around the Museo del Prado towards Retiro. By the time we reached the park, the late afternoon light had become beautifully warm, which allowed us to create something a little more relaxed and spontaneous.
I really enjoyed finding that balance between the more professional portraits and photographs that showed their personalities and the way they interact as a team. For a business that works across different countries, I think those little moments of connection are just as important as having a great headshot. They help potential clients see the people behind the business and get a better sense of who they are and how they work together.
If you’re planning a personal branding session in Madrid, whether you’re working on your own or want to create photographs for your whole team, I’d love to hear about your project.
