The day has finally come for me to share some exciting news I’ve been keeping under wraps! Susana Esteves Pinto of Simplesmente Branco, of which I’m a selected vendor, and Maria João Soares of Design Events, have just launched a book that brings together all the great advice shared over the years in their pocket guides for planning a joyful wedding day. Now, instead of collecting those guides (which are no longer available to read), you can have a beautiful book filled with inspiring images and practical tips, published by Arena.
As a wedding photographer, I’m very familiar with the challenges couples face on the way to their big day. There are a thousand and one decisions to make, tasks to delegate (or not!), vendors to choose to make the day more beautiful and joyful, and so much that’s left to be done right up until the night before. And of course, until the day actually arrives, there’s always something else that needs doing. That’s why this “pocket instruction manual” project made so much sense from the very beginning.
Now in this new book format — revised and improved — and already available for pre-order at FNAC (with an early bird discount!), this guide is sure to be an excellent read for anyone planning a wedding. After all, it is a Practical Guide to a Very Happy Day!
And of course, it’s with enormous pride that I see one of my photos (you can see it in full below) used as the cover of a book for the first time. Honestly, I think the real joy will hit when I have the book in my hands and flip through something truly beautiful that starts with something of mine. Until then, I’m enjoying this virtual cover moment to the fullest.
