This family vacation photo session in Madrid took place last year in July and has made me long for summer days (despite knowing that I always feel that I've had enough of summer by the end of July!). Angie and her husband had spent their honeymoon in Madrid ages ago. After 15 years of marriage and two kids later, they decided to visit Madrid again and catch up on the city. They booked me for a morning photo session around Parque El Retiro, my absolute favorite in the city to capture families.
Parque El Retiro is our "Central Park" and allows us to go on a walk under the shade of the beautiful trees, allows the kids to run free around us without parents having to worry about cars or crossing streets, it has some beautiful iconic landmarks in the city, like Palacio de Cristal, La Rosaleda (rose garden), Monument Alfonso XII and so on, and it's the perfect place to go for a touristic walk while at the same time capture some relaxed photos.
