A Personal Branding Photo Session is always special — but even more so when they're with friends. This session with my dear friend Andrea, an architect turned Social Media Manager based in Lisbon, felt like spending a slow morning with someone who knows exactly how to make a space feel like home. Her apartment, a typical Lisbon gem turned cozy cowork, was the perfect setting to capture her essence and the story behind her brand.
We wanted the session to reflect everything she stands for — creativity, warmth, and authenticity. So we wandered through the light-filled rooms, pausing in corners she’s lovingly curated over the years with vintage treasures, bold prints, and pops of color that scream "Andrea". We didn’t stage much — just followed the soft natural light, embraced the quiet moments, and created a series of lifestyle portraits that feel honest, personal, and beautifully relaxed. My favorite room? Obviously the one half painted in the warmest yellow tone!
As a lifestyle photographer now based in Madrid who adores these in-between moments, this kind of work brings me so much joy. It’s not just about snapping headshots, it’s about telling a story — capturing what makes someone them. The little details: her favorite coffee mug, the morning sunlight on the tiled kitchen floor (to be honest even the bathroom tiled floor is to die for!), the shelf of books that inspire her work, the vibrant illustrations on her wall, the wooden chairs she gathered over the years... All of it speaks to who she is, not just what she does.
